Report by the RAPEX 2011 report 50, brand “Nem” sheep key-ring pose a risk of chocking because it contains small parts that can be easily detached and swallowed.(Product reference: 0113)

The product does not comply with the Toys Safety Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71-1. Voluntary stop of sales, withdrawal from the market and recall from consumers.

Brand “Leiva Electricidad’”Night-light pose a risk of electric shock

Report by the RAPEX 2011 report 50, brand “Leiva Electricidad”Night-light pose a risk of electric shock.  (Ref. 13202 Barcode: 8431487132021). Product is white plug-in night-light with transparent blister pack.

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:
it does not have sufficient insulation resistance;
it does not have sufficient mechanical strength and can break, leaving live parts exposed.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.  And withdrawal from the market ordered by the authorities.

Lighting chains pose electric shock

Report by the RAPEX 2011 report 49, Brand – Cod’ Events – Lighting chains (Reference: 5VRA434, EAN : 3526780751828) The electrical connections of the conductors to the lights are not protected effectively against tensile stress and consequently live parts can become exposed posing a risk of electric shock.

The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

The product has been voluntary withdrawal from the market.
