The Netherlands will ban the use of four PFAS substances in all paper and board food contact materials as of July 1st, 2022. The ban of these four PFAS in the updated Dutch law “Warenwetregeling verpakkingen en gebruiksartikelen” was subject of a prior consultation with Dutch stakeholders. They decided that there is no need to arrange a transition period.
