Dashboard Design Feedback

Hi Colleagues,

We need your input! Below you will find six links to Dashboard designs. These are minimal designs, which means they are not fully worked out.
We are curious about which of the designs appeals to you the most

Have a look at them and rate them from 1 to 10 to your liking. 1 is not appealing and 10 is very appealing.

With your input, we can decide which way we are going.

The prototypes

Every prototype except Design 1 is clickable. When you open a prototype you can click the side menu the open and close it.

Dashboard prototypes

Design 1 - View prototype

This is design is consistent with the look & feel of rest of the platform. It uses tabs and buttons with text, positioned in the top left corner.


Design 2 - View prototype

This design follows the sidebar principle. The sidebar has been seperated from the content leaving more space. Different grey shades have been applied. The buttons have icons instead of text and a re position to top right corner, to draw the attention away from them and let the focus be on the graphs in the dashboard.


Design 3 - View prototype

This design follows the sidebar principle. Everything is separated in blocks without a background for the workspace. All blocks have rounded corners. The buttons have icons instead of text and a re position to top right corner, to draw the attention away from them and let the focus be on the graphs in the dashboard.


Design 4 - View prototype

Sidebar principle. A sidebar inside the workspace. All tools related to the dashboard aligned to the left.


Design 5 - View prototype

Sidebar principle. A sidebar which cover the complete side of the screen and a top toolbar for actions. This design create more space between buttons in the sidebar. The buttons have icons instead of text and a re position to top right corner, to draw the attention away from them and let the focus be on the graphs in the dashboard.


Design 6 - View prototype

Sidebar principle. A sidebar which cover the complete side of the screen and a top toolbar for actions. The sidebar has low spacing. The buttons have icons instead of text and a re position to top right corner, to draw the attention away from them and let the focus be on the graphs in the dashboard.
