Amidst the trade show hustle, it’s critical for management, buying and category managers to balance commercial ambitions with compliance needs. In response to the positive feedback from last year’s events, ProductIP, together with DutchChamand NHKBA is thrilled to offer a Networking & Knowledge session aimed at helping you navigate these challenges and address them in your meetings with suppliers and at your office.
We’ve handpicked three topics from the regulatory tsunami to ensure you leave the event with a clear understanding of their scope and impact on products, pricing and internal processes.

Key Topics:
👉 CBAM: The EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism is the new tool to put a carbon tariff on carbon-intensive products, such as steel, cement and some electricity imported to the EU. While it doesn’t directly impact product compliance, the same teams often address it. Understanding the tax implications of imports and how they affect your operations is crucial.
👉 EUDR: The new EU Deforestation-Free Products Regulation (expanding on the EU Timber Regulation) adds stricter responsibilities, requiring the verification of sustainable product origins and the social and environmental circumstances in the supply chain.
👉  GRS: Global Recycled Standards is a certification scheme rapidly being embraced by large retail and trading companies. Though not a regulation, GRS encourages the use of recycled materials in packaging and products, supporting the growing movement towards a circular economy.

Positioned time-wise between the Global Sources Consumer Electronics and Hong Kong Electronics trade shows, this event offers a valuable opportunity for those in Hong Kong, attending these trade shows, or on their way to the Canton Fair, to deepen their knowledge and, importantly, expand their network. Remember, business is about people!

👉👉 Reserve your spot today to confidently face the regulatory landscape ahead
