What you will do
As a Commercial Operations Specialist, you are responsible for the structure, reliability and day-to-day management of our commercial pipeline. You ensure that opportunities are clear, up to date and actively managed, allowing Sales to focus on high-value conversations at the right time. ment.
Your responsibilities include:
- Owning the structure and hygiene of the commercial pipeline.
- Defining and maintaining working agreements with Sales and Marketing.
- Identifying and resolving stalled, outdated or unclear opportunities.
- Reviewing inbound enquiries and assessing commercial relevance and readiness.
- Engaging directly with prospects when context or judgement is required.
- Preparing and handing over well-qualified opportunities to Sales.
- Preventing premature or low-value escalation to Sales.
- Maintaining clear and reliable pipeline reporting.
- Identifying patterns, issues and improvement opportunities in commercial processes.
You do not close deals or negotiate pricing; your impact comes from judgement, structure and follow-up.
The team
You will be part of the Commercial team and report to the Commercial Director. You work closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success. Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, collaboration is direct and practical, and decisions are based on facts rather than assumptions.
Your background
You combine commercial insight with operational discipline. You:
- Have HBO-level working and thinking capability.
- Have experience with sales pipelines and CRM systems.
- Can assess commercial relevance based on limited information.
- Work in a structured and disciplined way.
- Make clear, defensible decisions and communicate them well.
- Collaborate effectively across teams.
- Have strong written and spoken English.
