Product Compliance Risk Assessment

The Art of Stress-Free Product Compliance

The one-day Product Compliance Risk Assessment training,

is finally back on the agenda, on 6 September, 2022

Your company's environment is constantly changing. Shortages of labour, materials and parts in supply chains, high container prices, and lock-downs in China. Matters that inevitably lead to adjustments within your organisation and processes.

And now, on top of that, there are significant changes driven by new regulations and societal pressures that directly impact your supply chain, procurement and probably also your product range. We already see this happening with serious parties using ProductIP.

To make the right decisions, you need an overview of this changing landscape and its consequences. Making sure you are in line with today's developments will give you a competitive advantage later.

This Product Compliance Risk Assessment training offers you insight into your (compliance) business risks around the purchase and sale of non-food products, saleability of stocks, valuation of inventory in the event of a business transfer and, of course, we also discuss developments such as:

  • Responsibilities concerning the supply chain, think of the German Lieferkettengesetz and comparable EU developments.
  • Impact on trade and retail on product compliance through the additional obligations around non-financial reporting, The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  • General Product Safety Directive, then perhaps already Regulation, will have a similar approach to non-harmonised products (without CE) as the market surveillance legislation already in force for harmonised products (with CE). For example:
    • Mandatory EU address on products and packaging.
    • Responsibilities for Fulfilment Service Providers.

There is an ever-increasing number of potentially applicable laws and regulations. In addition, one has to participate in systems like EPREL, SCIP and various national recycling systems. At the same time, we are making "dumb" products "smart", and the complexity is also increasing. How can companies cope intelligently with this increasing workload?

This intensive one-day training course is relevant for the (also quality) management of companies involved in trade, retail/e-commerce, fulfilment, branding and or production of non-food consumer products. To guide your company through the upcoming changes, more insight is needed into what is going on, what is coming up, and what is the common threat!

Also, if you are working as an advisor, accountant, or perhaps as an investor involved in this sector through M&A's, this one-day training will give you new insights into company risks.

This is the fourth edition of a training course in which several hundred international professionals from retail & trade have already participated.

You will receive a certificate of participation.
